All services & activities for Sunday, March 29, are canceled.

Our online worship service will be posted on the Facebook link below @ 11:15 am on Sunday morning.

  • The church office will be closed for the duration of this week.  Church staff will work remotely from home and will continue to check voicemail & email regularly.  Please do not hesitate to call and leave a voicemail if you need to reach us.  At this time we ask that you refrain from visiting the church facility for the remainder of this week.  We will continue to update you on a week-by-week basis.

  • Scheduled gatherings, rehearsals, worship & bible studies on site at FFBC have been postponed until further notice.  We will be sure to update you in the weeks ahead regarding scheduled gatherings, and also for ways that we can stay digitally connected and serve our neighbors in this unique season.

  • Visits by Pastoral staff & the Deacon ministry will be very limited due to COVID-19.  However, if you have an urgent need, please do not hesitate to call the church office, pastoral staff, or a deacon on call. We will do our best to support and serve you.

Church leadership will continue to spend time in prayer, and reassess as the current situation unfolds.  Decisions made for the good of others is paramount in this time of health concern.  We will continue to make decisions at FFBC that place our steadfast trust in the Lord, and make the love for our neighbor crystal clear.   Please continue to pray for those in Fredericksburg, the Commonwealth, our Country, and around the world who are ill, and for those who are caring for them.

Isaiah 26:3 - "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you."

Men's Discipleship Training

Who we are

The Men’s Ministry at Ferry Farm Baptist seeks to promote thriving manhood in our congregation by growing men in maturity in Christ and engaging, encouraging, and equipping them to become better husbands, better fathers, and better leaders for their families, their churches, and their communities.

We as Ferry Farm men lock arms in small groups and freely discuss the challenging personal issues we face as husbands and Fathers.  Confidentiality is the rule for our groups – what is said in our meetings remains in our meetings.

Our goal is to understand manhood as God designed it, and to learn and apply His Ways to our family relationships so that we and our families may flourish.

American culture in the 21st century presents unprecedented challenges to the wellbeing of men and their families.  How can men protect their families from the ravages of a secular culture which seems bent on removing God from American life and corrupting the lives of our citizens?

We FFBC men have questions and God has the answers.  Come join us as we learn to thrive in our manhood!

Our Curricula

We study Bible-based curricula especially designed for men such as The Quest of Authentic Manhood, 33 - the Series, Stepping Up, Kingdom Man, Leading and Loving, and so on.  We also attend periodic events such as the annual Noble Man conference held in the Fredericksburg area.  FFBC participates in events sponsored by Noble Warriors, a regional Men’s Ministry.  FFBC guys often get together on a weekday or Saturday morning for breakfast to have fun and deepen and strengthen our sense of brotherhood.  All of the curricula and events are specifically designed to address the special leadership challenges to which God has called men.
